BES Summer Reading Grade 3

Welcome to third grade! We know how hard you worked all year to make great progress in reading and it’s important to keep that effort going over the summer. Rising third graders need to read one book from this list. You are welcome to partner read with your friends and parents. While you are reading you need to write down your thoughts and any questions that you have.

You will need to write a letter (Dear third grade teacher…this summer I read ____________ and this is what I was thinking about as I read it,) and bring it to Meet Your Teacher Day in August. Your teacher will be excited to see what you’ve read and see how you interacted with the book!
