Physical Education Rubric
Grading Criteria
4 - (E) Surpasses expectations, and participates in extracurricular activities. Student turns in a log sheet to show participation. This grade is only given to grades 3 – 5. The highest grade a K-2 student can receive is an S.
3 –( S) Student participates fully, and wears the correct shoes consistently. No more than 2 pink slips.
2 – (N) Student participates most of the time, but has received 3 or 4 pink slips
1 – (U) Student participates, but has received 5 or more pink slips.
Pink slips given for not wearing tennis shoes only affect the participation grade.

2. Participating in all activities (grades are given not for specific skill level, but
for effort given).
